Things to prepare and bring

Art materials

We will not provide any art material, so please bring your own. Make sure you have enough paper, pencils, erasers, pens, ink, paint, Wacom tablet and whatever else you may need.

Internet connection

For those bringing laptops, LASALLE will provide access to the local wifi network. In case the connection is slow, you may want to use your own wireless connection.

Reference materials

We recommend you prepare beforehand your reference pictures and other research material.

Plastic folder with pocket pages

If you are drawing on paper, please bring a clear folder with plastic pocket pages to insert your finished pages. This is for displaying your work. At the end of the challenge, we will have a closing party where everyone will share your work, vote for one another, and win prizes.

Food and drinks

At any time, you may go outside to forage for food at your own expense. There is a foodcourt at Sim Lim Square next to our venue. Burger King is at Burlington Sqaure which is also nearby. Refer to the map here.

In addition, you are encouraged to bring your own snacks and refreshments, such as biscuits and cakes, to keep you going.

The venue has a pantry area which provides hot water, which you can use to make tea or cook instant noodles (don't forget to bring chopsticks or a fork). Please bring your own mug and food containers if you need them.

If you need music, please bring your own portable music players and ear phones.

Electrical needs

If you're bringing a laptop, please also bring multiplugs and extension cords to share power with others.

Warm clothes

The venue has air conditioning. It may get cold, so be prepared with a sweater or jacket.

Sleeping needs

Some of us may need to take power naps during this marathon. Please bring your own pillows, blankets, teddy bears or sleeping bags if you need them.

If you need them, please bring toothbrush, towels, contact lens cleaning solution, tissue paper, etc.
